Super Suction SA fires up the BBQ for a great cause

Fri, 28 March, 2025

At the FCA, supporting the local community isn’t just something we talk about—it’s something we put into action every step of the way. From our Buy Local initiative, which encourages our workforce to support businesses in Aldinga, Sellicks, and Maslin Beach, to direct engagement with local suppliers, community groups, and charities, we are committed to making a lasting impact.

Recently, we saw that commitment in action as Super Suction SA, a Seaford-based company that has been with FCA since the very beginning, hosted a BBQ for the workforce to celebrate how far the project has come. But the event wasn’t just about bringing people together—it was also about giving back. Thanks to the generosity of the FCA workforce, over $500 was raised through a gold coin donation for Judith’s Legacy, an Aldinga-based charity raising funds for the Cancer Council.

FCA takes pride in working with local businesses, suppliers, and community organisations to ensure the benefits of this project extend well beyond construction. Through business support programs, workforce development opportunities, and fundraising efforts like this, we are actively investing in the communities that support us.

A huge thank you to Super Suction SA for their continued partnership and for playing a key role in fostering this strong community spirit. Together, we’re building more than just roads—we’re building a legacy of local engagement, support, and resilience.
