Site workers on the Main South Road Duplication Stage 1 nominated the Aldinga Bay Community Shed as their preferred recipient for a percentage of funds from staff vending machines.

As a result, the men’s shed has received more than $5000 in funding, which will be used to extend and renovate its facility.

Men’s sheds provide a space for men to talk and connect as they complete practical activities, and undertake projects to give back to their communities.

The Aldinga Bay Community Shed holds sessions including general carpentry, wood turning, machine training and community projects.
