What's happening
The $810 million Fleurieu Connections project is jointly funded by the Australian and South Australian governments.
Over the coming weeks, several access changes and temporary road closures will be required to safely facilitate final construction and finishing works.
These activities are an important step in delivering the completed road, improving safety and connectivity for all road users once open. Details of these upcoming changes can be found on the following pages.
How this affects you
From 7pm Friday 7 November 2025 to 7am Monday 10 November 2025, the off ramp to Port Road at Aldinga, including the junction of Old Coach Road, will be temporarily closed (24 hours a day). A detour will be in place via Aldinga Beach Road, How Road and Port Road. Access to businesses on Old Coach Road and Port Road will be maintained at all times via Port Road. Please see below a detour map.
Works at the Aldinga Road and Plains Road will be undertaken at the same time as the works at Old Coach Road. Visit our website for more detail and detour information.
