The $810 million Fleurieu Connections project is jointly funded by the Australian and South Australian governments.

As we progress towards project completion, we’ll be undertaking final construction and finishing works on and around Sellicks Beach Road. This includes the construction of the new rest node, final asphalt, line-marking and landscaping works.

From Tuesday 18 November until Sunday 7 December 2025, Sellicks Beach Road between Main South Road and Forth Street will be closed 24 hours a day. During this time, all traffic travelling north and south will detour via Norman Road and Justs Road. Please see map overleaf for more information. Access to local properties and businesses will be maintained at all times.

Some noise disturbance can be expected, but we’ll try to keep these disturbances to a minimum. Breaks in construction will be scheduled where possible to minimise disruption during the closure period. In addition, local access will be maintained; however, we will contact you if the work may directly impact your property.
