We’ll be undertaking signal works on the Aldinga Bridge and Aldinga Road in preparation for the new intersection and southbound on and off ramps opening soon.

To safely undertake these works the new Aldinga Bridge and Aldinga Road, between Main South Road and Plains Road, will be temporarily closed on Sunday 10 August and Monday 11 August 2025 between 7pm and 7am. The road will reopen each morning at 7am.

During this time, northbound traffic on Aldinga Road will be detoured via Bayliss Road and Malpas Road, while southbound access will be maintained via Plains Road and Hahn Road.

Some noise disturbance can be expected, but we’ll try to keep these disturbances to a minimum. Please follow traffic management directions while work is in progress. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times. Access to the new Stonehouse Lane link road will remain open.
