What's happening
We will be undertaking asphalt works on Main South Road between Sellicks Beach Road and Country Road.
How this affects you
To safely undertake these works, Main South Road will be temporarily closed between Sellicks Beach Road and Country Road for two nights on Tuesday 28 January and Wednesday 29 January 2025 between 7pm and 7am. Main South Road will reopen at 7am each morning.
During these temporary closures, a detour via Sellicks Beach Road and Country Road will be in effect.
Some noise disturbance can be expected, but we’ll try to keep these disturbances to a minimum. Please follow traffic management directions while work is in progress. We will contact you if the work may directly impact your property. However, local access will be maintained.
Access for Emergency Services will be provided at all times. Heavy Vehicle operators will need to contact traffic controllers on UHF 19 when approaching the closure and will be escorted through the work zone on Main South Road.
On Tuesday 28 January and Wednesday 29 January 2025, Main South Road between Sellicks Beach Road and Country Road will be temporarily closed for night works between 7pm and 7am, with Main South Road. Main South Road will reopen at 7am each morning. During this time, a detour via Sellicks Beach Road and Country will be in effect and local access will be maintained.
