What's happening
We’ll be undertaking line marking and asphalt works during the night on Main South Road between Port Road and Hart Road.
How this affects you
On Sunday 2 March 2025, from 7pm, Main South Road between Port Road and Hart Road will be closed to safely undertake line marking and asphalt works, prior to opening to new signalised intersection at the Aldinga Beach Road and Aldinga Road intersection at 7am Monday 3 March 2025.
During this time a detour will be in place for motorists travelling northbound and southbound. Motorists will detour via Malpas Road, Bayliss Road, Almond Grove Road and Hahn Road. Traffic to Aldinga Beach will be detoured via Port Road, Quinliven Road and How Road. See map below for detour information.
Some noise disturbance can be expected, but we’ll try to keep these disturbances to a minimum. Please follow traffic management directions while work is in progress.
In addition, we will contact you if the work may directly impact your property, however, local access will be maintained.
Adverse weather may impact our works, but we’ll keep you updated via our website.
