The Fleurieu Connections Alliance proudly supported their southern Adelaide community and the @HuttStreetCentre recently.

The team acted as a support crew and cheer squad for walkers taking part in a local Walk a Mile in My Boots event arranged by the Willunga Wanderers. This annual 50 km charity walk takes participants from the Fleurieu all the way to Adelaide’s CBD.

The walkers—community members and participants from local schools—were met with a water station, muesli bars and smiling faces at the Coast to Vines underpass.

The underpass was updated by the FCA as part of the Main South Road Duplication Stage 1. Most recently, it has been adorned with artwork and a mural showcasing local marine life and traditional fishing by the First Nations people of this area—the Kaurna people.
