May 2024 update
The South Australian Government made an election commitment to build three overtaking lanes between Myponga and Cape Jervis.
The Australian Government has committed $15.9 million towards the Main South Road Overtaking Lanes between Myponga to Cape Jervis as part of the 2024-25 Budget.
A planning study began in early 2023 with specific sites to be confirmed. We will share more information with the community as it’s available.
